A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People

It was a cold day in the city of Buffalo, NY as long lines wrap around the Delavan-Grider Community Center. The Brothers of the Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated continue to hold the light of Alpha high as they executed their "Kids Vote Too" event in alignment with their national "A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People" program. Brothers assisted the elderly and disabled and made sure they were able to get to the front of the line. Brothers also served hot apple cider, water and candy as people waited hours to vote.

Parents with children were able to have their kids learn to cast ballots as Brothers set up a kids voting table at the polling place. Kids signed their names and were escorted by kid volunteers to the immersive kids voting booth created by our partners at Jack And Jill Of Buffalo.
